The Yamaha XT was undoubtedly a motorcycle benchmark of the 1980s. It was made in numerous versions characterized by different frame solutions and different engines. However, all the bikes had a clear off-road / enduro vocation in common. Among the most famous, equipped with the most powerful single-cylinder engine available, the XT 600 Teneré. From the bike sold on the market, a special version was created, the “660”, to compete successfully in the Paris-Dakar and the Rally of the Pharaohs. It had a larger engine with a displacement of 634 cc, improved Ohlins suspension, oil and air filters dedicated to better adapt to the climatic conditions and a large tank that characterized its very “muscular” and captivating design.
