Tamiya proudly introduces the Porsche 911 Turbo, broadening the Porsche 911 series lineup. Famed as the peak of the 911 series, the Turbo impresses with its design and power, making it the most widely recognized model in the series.
The 911 Turbo debuted in 1975 as Porsches first turbo-engined street car. It was outfitted with an air-cooled, 6-cylinder flat engine, equipping it with a KKK turbocharger, a displacement of 3 liters and an output of 260 hp. Models from 1978 or later featured an upgraded power plant, boasting 3.3 liters and 300 hp. Boasting its large-sized rear wing and front/rear overfenders, the 911 Turbo caught the eye of car lovers around the globe, as well as its dependable performance.
This 1/24 scale assembly kit of the 1988 Porsche 911 Turbo offers an incredibly detailed static display model. It accurately recreates the Turbo's iconic look, featuring front and rear overfenders, a large-size rear wing, and extra wide tires.
To provide extra realism, the model has an all-new body design and realistic engine detailing with a separately molded exhaust pipe. Synthetic rubber tires with a realistic tread pattern complete the model, as do metal transfers for the mirrors and logo.
Model Kit includes instructions and decor. This model kit must be assembled and painted by an adult, with paints and adhesives purchased separately.
