The Ferrari Daytona SP3 is a sports car produced by the Italian car manufacturer Ferrari since 2021. The Daytona SP3 is the third model of the so-called family of limited edition cars called Icona which recalls Ferrari's historic cars in its name and design. The Daytona SP3 was presented on November 20, 2021, with production planned for just 599 examples the definitive version made its debut on 20 November 2021 on the Mugello circuit during the Ferrari Finali Mondiali 2021 event. The car adopts a berlinetta-type bodywork, but with a Targa roof and removable hard-top. The exterior design of the Ferrari Daytona SP3 is inspired by the prototype racing sports cars of the late 1960s such as the 330 P3/4 and 330 P4. A characteristic element are the rear-view mirrors which are placed directly above the front fenders. The minimalist dashboard is equipped with digital instrumentation with a 16-inch display with touch controls located on the steering wheel. The seats are attached directly to the frame. The Daytona SP3 takes up the carbon fiber monocoque chassis of the previous LaFerrari, with the bodywork being made using composite materials. Some areas and zones of the frame to absorb impacts and shocks are made of Kevlar. Powering the car is a 6.5-liter 65° V12 naturally aspirated petrol engine marked F140HB derived directly from the one mounted on the 812 Competizione, but mounted in a central-rear position. It delivers a maximum power of 840 HP, with the limiter set at 9500 rpm. The Daytona SP3 has a curb weight of 1485 kg, with a weight-power ratio of 1.77 kg/hp. The 0-100 km/h sprint is covered in 2.85 seconds, while the 0-200 km/h in 7.4 seconds, the maximum speed stands at 340 km/h. The tires supplied by Pirelli are specific for this model.
