The 599XX is the most extreme variant of the 599 and is part of the FXX program, not approved for road circulation. It is derived from the normal 599, yet profoundly revised; featuring racing components, a 6.0 V12 engine with an increase in power to 730 HP, a stiffened roll bar, and an enhanced set-up. Its aerodynamic body allows for 630 kg of aerodynamic load at 300 km/h, making the 599XX the first road model derivative to break the 7-minute record on the Nürburgring circuit with a time of 6'58"16.
