The Valkyrie is powered by a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine developed by Cosworth, producing 1,000 hp, combined with a Rimac hybrid system that brings total output to 1,160 hp. The hybrid system includes a lightweight battery designed to enhance performance while maintaining optimal weight distribution. The original prototype exceeded a 1:1 power-to-weight ratio, while the road-legal version gained additional weight due to homologation requirements. The car is capable of accelerating from 0 to 320 km/h (0–200 mph) in approximately 10 seconds. Power is delivered through a 7-speed paddle-shift transmission developed by Ricardo. The car features multiple motorsport-derived components, including Formula 1-style exhaust placement, Bosch electronics, and a braking system supplied by Alcon and Surface Transforms. The structure is entirely made of carbon fiber, with a Multimatic monocoque and no steel components. High-performance Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires and lightweight center-lock wheels further contribute to the vehicle’s extreme weight optimization.
