ITALERI AUDI QUATTRO RALLY 1/24 - 3642

In 1980 during the Geneva Motor Show, the German car manufacturer from Ingolstad presented its new two-door coupe Audi Quattro. Produced throughout the 1980s, the Italian name highlights its main feature: four-wheel drive. Four-wheel drive on a vehicle that had the aim of generating large numbers on the market was in fact an important novelty for the time. The “Quattro” in fact guaranteed good performance combined with excellent road holding on all types of surfaces. The front longitudinal engine was in fact able to deliver an appreciable performance. A competition version was also made which debuted in the 1981 World Rally Championship with good results. The success of the "Quattro" is still renewed today, so much so that the Italian name has become a real "brand" that identifies the most recent range of Audi's all-wheel drive cars.
